I'm posting TWO days in a row !

Okay, I know I should be writing about the wonders of blogging, but when I write on here I feel so selfish! I pretty much write about myself - which is not only boring but also just selfish. Anyway, maybe I'll learn how to write not self-centered posts!
Today I spent most of the day reading a book for my writing class term paper. My topic is Jane Austen's negative view of clergy; so, I've spent the whole day reading Mansfield Park. I hate to say this because I am such a dedicated Jane Austen fan, but this book is not all that interesting !!!! It has been interesting enough to keep me from my geometry all day though, but that really doesn't take that much. I really don't like geometry. It isn't my personality. It has helped my logic which is a plus, but Algebra 2 was still way better!
I'm not going to post a lot today because I want to be able to look at all your blogs!

Woahhhh ! I'm watching the news, and Randel El just switched to the Redskins!
BARF! NOt that I liked him anyway! Pittsburgh and Washington pretty much are equally bad in my book. [ No, I'm not stupid! I know Pittsburgh isn't "Bad" as far as playing. I just pretty much hate them.] My big thing against the Redskins is that my sister a faithful Cowboys fan switched to liking the Redskins and ay team [except the Colts] that takes fans away form the Cowboys is BAD! Okay, nice little side note there :).
Today I read Anthem by Ayn Rand. The book is philosophy/fiction. It was really good. She did a great job expressing her view of man. Unfortunately, she suggested that we all worship ourselves ! Also her view of morality is that man finds his right and wrong in his holy sacred temple which is himself and his individuality.
[ News break - The Dave Letterman Show is on. My Dad is watching it. Anyway, he just said that a man was dining in California and he saw the face of Jesus in his Manicotti! PLEASE! To make it all worse Jesus' picture was with Chef Boyardee.]
I prolly should go to bed!

Hi Everyone!
Sorry for not posting this entire week! I am in the contest and all, but I have been really busy with homework and work. I am extremely tired because last night I got less than four hours of sleep and it is already one. But, I know I need to some more worldviews before tomorrow, so I have to stay up!
This week for writing class each student had to write a paper on what the rules for colleges should be. Basically, we each worte a list of rules for a Christian college. Although I like rules and a structured life, I obviously would not enforce that on everyone else. So, my "college" really did have all that many rules because I think by that age the students should accountable to God's laws.
Anyway, through this assignment, I found myself on the Bob Jones University website to see their rules. I understand that they are trying to represent Christ, but some of their rules make me begin to wonder if they have lost focus from the really important of training their students into Godly men and women.
Here are some pasted and copied rules -

· Sideburns should not extend past the middle of the ear. Men are expected to remain clean-shaven.
· Hose must be worn for all professional-type activities including class, church, and recitals. {I feel really bad for all those girls!]
· Students may work in town until 10:25 pm on weekdays and midnight on weekends. Freshmen must have a prayer captain, assistant prayer captain, or upperclassman with them. Sophomores and upperclassmen may work alone.
Wow,I need to go to bed it is almost two, and I have homework !!! I'm sorry if this post doesn't inrest any of you, but you would be even more bored if I had posted only about my life!

My New Blog!

WOW! I can fianlly have a blog! I figured out what is wrong with my computer or with me :). You have to press the no for the compose blog settings thing! Anyway I am planning on faithfully updating now that I know how! I would write more now, but it is only eleven so NOTHING of any interest has happened... unless you are interested in what I had for breakfast! [ NO, actually I didn't just wake up!] I will write more later.
